Birthdays

My birthday this Sunday, Fiona's this coming Thursday. Wish us Happy Birthdays! :) What are we doing to celebrate? On Saturday night we've managed to get ourselves a reservation at a little West Village hotspot restaurant, The Little Owl. (Google it and read Frank Bruni's review from the Times if you're interested.) It has been on my list for a while, and is notoriously difficult to snare a table on popular nights (Thurs/Fri/Sat). On Sunday we'll have a lazy day I guess, perhaps a spot of shopping and wandering, see how the weather is. If it is awfully and prohibitively cold for strolling up/down Madison Avenue in the 60s then we might check out the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. Also been on our list of things for a while.

And maybe a cupcake somewhere. With a candle?!
